Steering Angle Sensor : The steering angle sensor tells the computer in what position your steering wheel is in. Usually when driving straight, the computer will see this as the zero position. Turning the steering wheel to the left creates a negative position. Turning the steering wheel to the right creates a positive position. These sensors usually have to be zero’ed with a computer.
